Porcelain veneers can be used to change the color, shape and length of front teeth to dramatically improve your smile. This procedure is typically what is performed in "Smile Makeovers". Veneers are ultra-thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front of the teeth. This treatment usually requires removal of a small amount of enamel (about 3/4 of a millimeter) from the fronts of the teeth to accomodate the porcelain. Since the veneers are fabricated in the laboratory, we have total control over the color and shape of the veneers, and the pressed ceramic veneers are incredibly strong.
